Joining up as a dynamic twin fiddling and singing duo, Shad Cobb and Jenny Obert have recently been gracing stages with a stellar cast, intertwining their rich fiddle harmonies on old standard tunes, as well as their own original songs.

Jenny Obert grew up fiddling in Alabama and spent years performing in her birth state of Texas.  She has a lifetime of musical experience, from the Grand Ole Opry to Europe.  Obert has worked with Bill Emerson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Emmylou Harris, Hazel Dickens, Roland White, and The Long Players, and many others.  Her innovative style and sweet tone are sought-after on stages and in the studio.  She also writes songs, has a teaching studio, and fiddle camps in Nashville.

Shad Cobb grew up in Wisconsin and began playing the fiddle at age 13 with his family band.  He has spent twenty years in Nashville as a dynamic session player and sideman, known widely for his mastery of fiddle, guitar, and clawhammer banjo. Shad was a regular on The Grand Ole Opry for over ten years with Mike Snider, and has also worked with the Osborne Brothers, Steve Earle, Darrell Scott, Robbie Fulks, and Tim O’Brien, to name a few.
